We add this mixture to the milk and bring it to a boil over low heat, stirring with a wooden spoon until it thickens. Remove from heat, pour into a pastry bag with a smooth nozzle, let it warm and reserve in the refrigerator. We reserve them. We preheat the oven to 180ºC. We line a 30×40 cm mold with baking paper and reserve it too. For the two preparations, with the pastry cream we form a grid on the sponge dough, leaving squares of approximately 3-4 cm. We divide the apple slices in the holes and bake for 35 minutes.
